RESUME
Season Changer is a puzzle game set in mythological ancient Greece, where players control Acacius, a young, sickly boy who must journey to the Palace of Knossos in Crete to free the goddesses Demeter and Persephone from a flute, cursed by none other than Hades himself.
Acacius will travel across the island, from beautiful coasts to ancient mountains, harnessing the power of the goddesses infused into the flute. By manipulating the seasons, he can solve puzzles—freezing water in winter, making mushrooms grow in autumn, and more.
MY ROLE IN THE PROJECT AND ITS STATUS
During the development of this project, I took on the roles of project director, scriptwriter, and lead designer.
However, due to our limited resources and internal team decisions, we ultimately chose to abandon the game after reaching approximately three-quarters of its development.
Despite this, I feel proud of the project's scale and impact, especially considering my limited experience with previous projects at the time. Through this endeavor, I gained a deeper understanding of the roles of director and producer while also refining my skills as a designer.
DOCUMENTATION
After all this, I am attaching the GDD (Game Design Document) that we used for the project (in spanish), which contains the game's design up to the third world (out of four). It is written in Spanish And is provided for informational or educational purposes.
